Celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month in Santa Barbara

At Oniracom, we are committed to creating a culture of belonging and inclusion where diverse individuals can form a healthy, collaborative community. Pride Month is an opportunity for us to demonstrate that commitment, and a time in which vibrant diversity and love are celebrated. We encourage you to join in the festivities, and participate in the following events taking place in our community this Pride Month.


Pride Events this month in Santa Barbara:

Santa Barbara Pride Comedy FestivalJune 1st, 7th, 8th, & 9th
Celebrate pride and laughter at the inaugural Santa Barbara Pride Comedy Festival! The Pride Comedy Festival is dedicated to creating peace through laughter, embracing diversity, and uniting people through the universal language of comedy.This festival showcases a diverse lineup of comedic voices, each sharing their hilarious views of the world, reminding us that laughter knows no boundaries. By attending the Pride Comedy Festival, you not only get to experience incredible performances but also contribute to a great cause. Partial proceeds from the event will benefit the 2023 Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade, further strengthening our local community.

Pura Luna Pride PartyJune 1st, 5:30-8:30pm
Pura Luna Apothecary is kicking off Pride Month with the Pura Luna Pride Party Open House! Get ready for an incredible event filled with music, and delicious bites from Cool Runninz. Discover your destiny with tarot and astrology readings by the talented Lady LaDona. Plus, there will be some amazing giveaways and swag bags for early bird attendees. Don’t miss out on this epic celebration!

Queer Business RoundtableJune 2nd from 12 – 1 p.m.
The Crafter’s Library will be hosting their next queer business roundtable on June 15th. This free event provides an opportunity for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate with each other, ultimately creating a stronger network of LGBTQ+ business owners and leaders in our community.

Pride Market at Java StationJune 10th, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Support local makers, artists, and LGBTQ+ creators at Java Station’s Pride Market. The event (held at 4447 Hollister Ave.) will feature a raffle with items from the vendors. Proceeds will be donated local LGBTQ+ advocacy groups including Santa Barbara Trans Advocacy Network.

Glitter Brunch at Wildcat LoungeEvery Sunday at 11 a.m.
Hosted by the fabulous Vivian Storm and Angel D’mon, the dazzling Glitter Brunch at Wildcat Lounge is the perfect way to start your Sunday in Santa Barbara. Indulge in a premier drag experience that will leave you mesmerized and entertained. With glittering performances, delicious food, and a vibrant atmosphere, Glitter Brunch is a year-round celebration of joy and self-expression. Gather your friends and immerse yourself in the magic of this unforgettable experience. Reservations are recommended.

Sunset at the Kimpton Canary HotelJune 14th, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Enjoy the breathtaking sights of the Santa Barbara skyline while connecting with the community. This event is open to the public and offers a fantastic opportunity to stay updated with the latest from Pacific Pride Foundation, network with like-minded individuals, and indulge in happy hour specials. Groove to the beats of DJ Darla Bea as you soak up the vibrant atmosphere and celebrate the spirit of pride. Mark your calendars and join us for an incredible evening of connection, celebration, and panoramic views.

Queer Community CouncilJune 15 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Join Ashe and Vega for this heart-centered practice of holding space for each other by active listening through community story-telling. This is a space designed to allow everyone to be seen and heard without judgment or a need “fix”. This is open to anyone who wants to connect with the community, be engaged with an open heart, and participate in truly being present with each story told. We all have a story and from our stories healing can ensue. Through spontaneity, lean detailed stories, heart-centered sharing, and deep present listening- we can all receive the medicine of council.

Wild Goods Market at Wildcat Lounge June 17th, 12 – 4 p.m.
Step into a vibrant atmosphere, filled with handcrafted treasures, delicious treats, and like-minded individuals who share your love for all things wild and wonderful. From unique handmade jewelry to vintage clothing and eco-friendly products, each turn reveals something special. What’s even more amazing? Supporting local artists, makers, and LGBTQ+ community initiatives. A portion of all vendor fees goes to Pacific Pride Foundation, spreading love throughout Santa Barbara.

Paint & Sip Tea Party at Pura Luna Apothecary,  June 17th, 3 – 5 p.m.
Unleash your creativity and connect with nature at Pura Luna Apothecary’s plant-inspired painting workshop led by Danielle Renee Art. Explore the captivating artistry of using plant allies as our medium, painting the iconic Chromatic Gate in Santa Barbara. Enjoy herbal refreshments, immerse yourself in a vibrant creative community, and take home your own masterpiece. A portion of the proceeds will support the Pacific Pride Foundation, making this workshop an opportunity to give back while indulging in artistic expression.

Pacific Pride Foundation’s advocacy and education efforts meet the ongoing and emerging needs of a diverse population in order to create a thriving and visible LGBTQ+ community and to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS.

PFLAG Santa Barbara

PFLAG Santa Barbara (The Santa Barbara area parents, families, and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender persons) celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. PFLAG Santa Barbara welcomes the participation and support of all who share in, and hope to realize this vision.

PFLAG is a national, grassroots organization. Founded in 1972 with the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son, PFLAG is the nation’s largest family and ally organization. Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, 


Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network

The Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network educates individuals and organizations on best practices for transgender & gender expansive clients, patients, students, congregants and families; creates and develops spaces, actions, and policies that advance the welfare of transgender and diverse gender non-conforming individuals, their families, and allies in California’s Central Coast communities.
