Oniracom protects all sensitive data using the highest levels of industry best standards. We maintain strict security procedures to ensure information we own, license and process is not accessed by any unauthorized person or business.

We protect information in the following ways.

Encryption

All transmitted data is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption (also known as HTTPS) and all data at rest is encrypted by default using AES-256.  Using encryption protects the information and ensures privacy by scrambling it each time it’s transmitted or stored an a computer.

System Monitoring

We regularly review activity logs to identify potential problems. We have systems in place to automatically block and help prevent unauthorized access to your information from unknown or untrusted sources. Complete penetration tests are performed yearly. All services have quick failover points and redundant hardware, with complete backups performed nightly.

Patches

We update our systems frequently so that we are using current security technology.

Limited Access

We restrict access to sensitive information to Oniracom associates who need to know that information in order to process our research data.  Access to systems is severely restricted to specific individuals, whose access is monitored and audited for compliance. Personal identifiers, data, and keys are kept in different, physically separate systems. Each with its own unique password protection/encryption and restricted to limited to members of the study team.
