Site Rundown

After completing the WheresMatis.at microsite for Matisyahu’s tour, The Artists Organization approached us to develop a similar microsite with a social media roadmap for the Counting Crows’s Traveling Circus Show Tour featuring Michael Franti and Augustana.  The management wanted as much social integration as possible to engage fans that had been to the show, as well as fans that were soon to be attending.

Fans that had attended the shows were able to upload their pictures to Flickr with the tag “travelingcircusshow” and have them display on the site for others to see.  Also, people were able to join a global conversation with the Twitter integration on the site.  All tweets were included that had the #travelingcircus hashtag, and Twitter users were able to login with their Twitter username/password and tweet from the site.  This in turn created a conversation of many people tweeting at once, each one sending out a tweet to their Twitter followers with a link to the website.

This site also used Facebook Connect functionality to drive more traffic to the site by publishing user activity on the individual’s Facebook news feed, thus informing their friends of his or her activity on the site.

Client Testimonial

Oniracom has done a phenomenal job building Matisyahu’s web presence and taking it to the next level. They developed a complex but user friendly website and run it along with all social networks on a daily basis. We have seen huge increases in traffic and Matisyahu’s fans are more engaged than ever with our communities: Twitter, MySpace, Facebook, and the official Tour Archive. We needed a partner for the long haul in order to run an operation of this magnitude, and we found that in Oniracom.  They are on the cutting edge of technology, creative, strategic, and nimble with fast turnaround times.  We love Oniracom and plan to work with them on many projects.
